Free From Malicious Logic

I'm sorely tempted to rename my blog.

I was doing some reading at work today and came across this term. It is engineer speak for "code that doesn't contain a virus," but it really is fun.

It may also be a label that could apply to my old company, though it would need a slight addition:

Free From Logic, Malicious or Otherwise

or maybe

Free From Malicious Logic (or any other sort, for that matter)

I crack me up.

Can we get a post on how the new job is going? In a very general sense to avoid the dooce voodoo?

Um, I have some funny stories already, but I kinda want to do them justice and am being borne to the ground by a combination of adjusting to a 7:30 start time, buying a house, selling a house, and (frankly) a fledgling undead mage.

But in a very general sense, it is going well! But I'm not too far into the meat or the potatoes. More trying to get up to speed with organizational stuff. There is a process for everything, which is refreshing. Even if there might be things that are hard, there is a very real sense that none of it is arbitrary (huzzah!).

Marnie and I are thinking about getting a new car. Has the Honda given you guys any trouble at all?

I loved my Honda Mike. Barely had any trouble with it and it was great on gas. I would highly recommend.

No trouble from the Honda. If these gas prices don't drop (or even if they do) the hybrid is a great idea.
