Holy Crap

I came downstairs tonight to hang out with Kathy for a while. I had a project that I wanted to work on, so I figured I'd hang with her and tuck into it.

Well, as she was paging through the cable guide this fine night looking for something to watch, I noticed an entry at some random 400 channel that said "College Hockey" and yelped. She qued up info and it said Wisconsin vs. Minnesota State. Sweet! Of course, it blew the plan of hanging out with my wife, as she would be bored out of her head watching college puck. Wisconsin won 2-1 by the way, and after the game was over, I checked the next channel up. Sure enough! "College Hockey." I'm sitting in front of the third period of the Minnesota (HATE the Gophers) vs. Denver game. And I scanned ahead, and the second game of the Wisconsin series is on tomorrow night! I think this is some sort of regional Fox College Sports package that must be part of our digital set up. 3 channels that just cherrypick good games from around the country. Puck FTW!

I felt bad when Kathy got up from in front of the big TV to head upstairs, but she said "they aren't one very often here, so you should watch them on the nice TV." She's a good woman.
